According to Tammy Mason, the owner of The Mason Jar in Cadiz and the mastermind behind the Princess Project, every girl deserves to feel special during prom.
Mason has taken the lead on a prom dress giveaway, housing and taking dress donations so no girl has to miss out on prom.
When asked why she took on the project, Mason said the reason was simple.
She said the idea began after a community member donated prom dresses to the store last year.
Mason explained how having these dresses available is a group effort.
While Mason has already accumulated a number of dresses, she continues to ask for more from the community. You can bring your old prom dresses to The Mason Jar on Main Street in Cadiz.
