A wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard in the area of Popshelf severely injured a man on Saturday night.
Kentucky State Police say a southbound tractor-trailer was making a u-turn attempting to go northbound when it collided with a northbound car trapping the driver of the car inside his vehicle and under the tractor-trailer.
The driver of the car who is in his 40’s was extricated from his vehicle and taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health with CPR in progress.
Fort Campbell Boulevard is expected to be blocked for several hours.
