Trigg County TSA Club Brings Home Top Awards from Regional Engineering Competition

The Trigg County High School Technology Student Association (TSA) students and teams had a productive day at the Regional Engineering Competition at Murray State University on February 26.

Trigg County competed against over 1,000 students and 26 teams and received the overall winner award for having the largest contingent.

Here are the award winners:

Co2 Wooden Car Competition – 3rd Place (Emma Dowell, Natalia Slover, Leiah Hite and Maggie Wolfe)
Guitar – 1st Place (Caleb Wadlington, Bobby Smith, Zander Smith and Jaydon Ennis)
Future Teacher – 2nd Place (Ava Estes)
Kayak – 2nd Place (Cam McCormick, Leiah Hite, James Garnett and Carter Shepherd)
Engineering Design – 3rd Place (Joe Ethridge and Dominic Skinner)
Robotics – 3rd Place (William Thurston, Ardun Wilson, Brooke Finley and Maddi Reed)
Structural Design 2 – 1st Place (Nate Quiggins and Peyton Rojas)
Structural Design 2 – 3rd Place (Cash Thompson and Jude Heidel)
Trigg County was the Overall Winner (Sponsors Kelley Carver and Lori Ricks)
