A traffic stop on Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man on Sunday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Mory Burse for issues with his brake lights, an obscured license plate, and an insurance check.
The traffic stop reportedly led to the search of his room at the Rodeway Inn, the vehicle, and his person, leading to cocaine, two guns, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested and charged with no insurance, no brake lights, possession of cocaine, second offense, trafficking in synthetic drugs, prescription-controlled substance not in a proper container, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and rim or frame obscuring lettering or decal on plate.
