Donnie Aldridge, 69, Kountry Spring Lane, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 at his home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Edgewood Baptist Church.
A native of Augsburg, Germany, he was born August 1, 1956, the son of the late Fred Milam Aldridge and the late Edna Pauline (Joiner) Aldridge.
Donnie served in the United States Air Force. He previously worked at Dana, Copper Still, and as a driver for P.A.C.S. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and the VFW Post 1913.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Blakley.
Survivors include his loving wife, Phyllis Aldridge, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Steve Dunlap, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Casey (Matthew) Blakley, Hopkinsville, KY; his brothers, Howard (Cindy) Joiner, Fred Allen (Nancy) Aldridge, and Robert Wayne (Diane) Aldridge, all of Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters, Diane Aldridge Luttrell and Becky (George) Cavanah, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Daniel Blakley and Tyler Blakley.
