A wreck on Hugh Hunter Road in Oak Grove sent four people to the hospital two with severe injuries Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say that at around 5 pm, an SUV driven by 20-year-old Tayshawn White of Oak Grove was attempting to pass other vehicles when it collided with a van driven by 33-year-old Jermias Guzman of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, head-on.
Deputies say they were at the gas station and noticed the SUV that they had been looking for due to an investigation and before getting behind it White started passing vehicles and going head-on towards traffic leading to a crash.
White and his passenger 16-year-old Micardios Butler of Oak Grove were flown to Nashville hospitals, Guzman and his passenger 33-year-old Jorge Moreno of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, were transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt Health in Clarksville.
