A home on Johnston Street in Christian County was destroyed in a fire Thursday morning.
Christian County emergency personnel say they received reports of smoke coming from the home, and when firefighters arrived, flames were coming from the roof.
No one is believed to have been home at the time of the fire.
Highland Fire Department, along with Hopkinsville, Fairview, Westside, and Honey Grove Fire departments, were all called to help in extinguishing the flames.
