A home on Canton Road in Trigg County was destroyed in a fire Monday morning.
East Golden Pond Fire Department Chief Ronnie Gray says the home was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived just after 6 am.
Gray says the fire appears to have started in the back of the home adding they believe two dogs and a cat were killed in the fire.
No one was home at the time of the fire. The home is located at the 1300 block of Canton Road.
East Golden Pond Fire Department was assisted by Cadiz Fire Department.
