Eighth District State Representative Walker Thomas is closely watching legislation that will raise the minimum age for sports betting in Kentucky.
Thomas says Representative David Hale recently filed House Bill 582 that will increase the sports betting age limit to 21.
Thomas says sports betting in Kentucky is bringing in more revenue than expected.
He says Representative Hale's bill would also make changes to prop betting.
Thomas represents Christian, Trigg, and Caldwell Counties in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
