Legislation to simplify the eminent domain process will soon be heard in the Kentucky House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.
Ninth District State Representative Myron Dossett says it will provide an improved process for government acquisition of private property.
Dossett says input has been sought from groups involved in eminent domain proceedings.
Dossett, who represents Christian County in the Kentucky House of Representatives, serves as Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee.
