The family of Sherry Ann Oatts of Hopkinsville is saddened to announce her passing on January 30, 2026, at the age of 63.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Pastor Neil Immel officiating. Visitation is on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow in New Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born July 19, 1962, the daughter of the late Ruthelle Morris Oatts. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in several nursing facilities: Bradford Heights, Christian Health Center, Jennie Stuart Medical Center, and Covington Convalescent Center. She was a former member of Honey Grove Homemakers, a current member of The National Audubon Society, and a Master Gardener.
Survivors include her brothers: Larry (Joan) Oatts, Greg Oatts, and Randy (Shirley) Oatts all of Hopkinsville, KY; and her sisters: Sue Oatts Meacham and Lynn (Barry) Moseley all of Hopkinsville, KY; and her cousin: Rita (Tommy) Berman of Hopkinsville, KY; and her many other cousins, and nieces and nephews; and her childhood friends: Sharon Delaney and Todd Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Max Hope Pet Rescue or Christian County Animal Shelter.
