Cody Delaney Whitfield, age 46, of Oak Grove, KY, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at his home from natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date in Ohio. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Cody was born in Youngstown, OH, on September 25, 1979, to the late Rodney A. Whitfield and Colleen Prine. He had previously worked for the GCE Sanitation Department at Fort Campbell but was currently between jobs. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Rodney A. Whitfield.
Survivors include his brothers, Rick (Angela) Whitfield of North Lima, OH, and Stephen (Maegen) Whitfield of Berlin Center, OH; and his significant other, Stephanie Cramer of Oak Grove, KY.
