A private burial for 83-year-old Linda Futrell Hendon of Cadiz will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the East Cadiz Baptist Church Cemetery. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her sons, Howard Lynn Hendon (Pam), South Bend, IN; and Hank Hendon (Angie), Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Rita Amsden (Orrin), Cadiz, KY; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Linda Futrell Hendon was born in Cadiz, KY, on July 14, 1942, to Malcolm Fentress Futrell and Bessie Lois McCoy Futrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eugene Hendon; brothers, Bobby Futrell and David Futrell; and sister, Thelma Futrell.
Linda passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY.
Linda was a member of the East Cadiz Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She worked as a pharmacy clerk at Thrift-T Drug Store for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed researching her family history.
