A three-vehicle wreck on Pembroke Road in Hopkinsville sent an Elkton woman to the hospital Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say at 7:25 am, a truck driven by 30-year-old Marcus Cook of Hopkinsville was southbound on Pembroke Road when his truck collided with an SUV driven by 37-year-old Alicia Perkins and a second truck driven by 25-year-old Moses Nolt of Elkton.
Perkins and Nolt were both eastbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way and had a green light. Police say Cook stated that the sun caused a glare, making him think he had a green light as well.
Perkins was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
