Roads in Cadiz and Trigg County are not expected to show significant improvement for the next 24 hours.
Trigg County Emergency Management Director David Bryant says roads have not improved significantly during the day and will only get more hazardous with cold temperatures in the overnight.
Bryant says if residents of the city or county experience an emergency please be patient.
Although warming shelters in Trigg County have not been used so far during this winter storm, Bryant says they are available for those who experience a power outage or other issue and need a warm place.
