Bill Lester, 93, of Gracey

Funeral Services for 93 year old Bill Lester of Gracey will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at New Work Fellowship in Hopkinsville with Rev. Steve Hussung and Rev., Dr. Vona Wilson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lester Family Cemetery in Gracey. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at New Work Fellowship. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bill Lester was born in Lamasco, KY on November 5, 1932 to Price Edward Lester and Myrtle Johnston Lester. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Nell Calhoun Lester and three sisters, Ouida Wyatt, Bonnie Armstrong and Sarah Hussung.

He died on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his home.

Bill was a Lifelong Farmer and the founder of Lester Farms, Inc. He was a member of the Gracey West Union Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and a Awana Leader. He was a member of the Future Farmers of America, Young Farmers Association, Founding Board Director of Hopkinsville Elevator Coop, Founding Director of Pennyrile Citizens Bank, member of the Pennyrile Classic Car Club, Robertson Co. Antique Tractor Pullers Association and the Hillside Antique Tractor Pullers. A very special thank you to his caregivers, Tracey Gordon and Sarah Rogers, for the care, love and support you provided.
