Vickey LaNona Wilson Layne, 74, Detroit, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Fort Campbell.
Vickey, the daughter of the late Oliver Lee Wilson and Mildred Lee, was born on January 10, 1951, in Detroit, MI.
Vickey was a U.S. Army Veteran. She was a very kindhearted person; she loved walking and liked helping others.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include husband Joseph Layne, Siblings, Oliver Wilson Jr., Cornelius Wilson, Joe Wilson, Larry Wilson, Alvinna Wilson, and Carmen Wilson.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A Committal service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 12 pm at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
