A home on Riley Hollow Road in Trigg County was damaged in a fire Friday afternoon.
East Golden Pond Fire Department Chief Ronnie Gray says the fire started in the back of the home on an exterior wall and spread to the attic, causing extensive damage.
No one was injured, Gray says, adding the homeowner will be displaced due to the fire.
Gray says an off duty Hopkinsville Firefighter who lives in the area stopped and helped in keeping the fire contained.
Firefighters from Cadiz Fire Department were also called to help with extinguishing the fire. The home is located at the 1300 block of Riley Hollow Road.
