A wreck on Roaring Springs Road in Trigg County sent a woman to the hospital Thursday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say that at 7:44 a.m., an SUV was traveling eastbound on the 1600 block of Roaring Springs Road when the driver lost control on the icy roadway, causing the vehicle to run off the road and overturn.
The driver was taken by Trigg County EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew her to a Nashville hospital with several possible broken bones.
