Authorities are investigating several crashes after roads in the northern end of Christian County became slick on Wednesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say at 5:35 am, a vehicle ran off the road due to the icy conditions on Princeton Road at Rat Rogers Road, and the driver, Givonte Riley, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
As Riley was being taken to the hospital, the ambulance located a second crash with no injuries a mile from the first crash, and collided with the vehicle due to the icy conditions.
Deputies say they were also called at 5:22 am to a crash with a vehicle sliding off the road and colliding with the porch of a mobile home at the 16000 block of Dawson Springs Road. The driver from the Dawson Springs Road crash was also taken to the hospital due to his injuries.
A fourth crash at 7:15 am on Crofton Fire Tower Road injured a child when the vehicle they were in slid off the road at the 3-mile marker.
