A traffic stop on Desota Lane in Oak Grove led to DUI and drug charges Sunday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Daniel French for a turn signal violation and found his license was suspended and the vehicle had no insurance.
During the investigation, deputies say a pipe with residue inside was seen wedged between the driver’s seat and the door, and a bag of meth was located in the vehicle.
After a field sobriety test, French was arrested and charged with failure to or improper signal, operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure to surrender a revoked operator’s license, DUI, no insurance, and possession of meth.
