The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed KY 807/Donaldson Creek Road at mile point 3.9, west of KY 139, in Trigg County.
The existing bridge over Donaldson Creek will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge.
Equipment is being mobilized to the site today and Friday, with demo planned for Monday.
Jim Smith Contracting is the prime contractor for this project, which represents an investment of $535,000.
Construction is expected to be completed by late March, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
