Bruce “B.W.” White, 75, of Hopkinsville

A Celebration of Life for 75-year-old Bruce “B.W.” White of Hopkinsville will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Cadiz Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 3:00 -4:00 p.m. at the Cadiz Church of Christ. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his loving companion Nancy of Hopkinsville, KY; his children Kim Newton Dawley (Jeremy), Castalian Springs, TN; Branson Kyle White, Murray, KY; Whitney White Jonas (Drew), Murray, KY; and Billy Joe Wallace (Amber), Hopkinsville, KY;

Brothers Mark White (Tammy), Cadiz, KY; and Shane White (Lindsey), Clarksville, TN;

Grandchildren Derek, Savannah, Jacob, Caleb, Mystic, and Lucan;  and a number of nieces and nephews.

His loving dogs, whom he referred to as “His Boys”: Duce and Ace.

He was born on February 11, 1950, in Hopkinsville, KY, to John Paul White and Lois Vernell Fuller White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife, Sandra Faye White; Brother, Jeffrey Alan White, and a Grandson, Luke Jonas.

He died on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at his home.

Bruce “B.W.” White was a graduate of Christian Co. High School. After graduation, B.W. worked at West & Witherspoon Florist and then later for Goldenrod Dairy for about ten years. He then owned and operated various liquor store businesses, including Turners Liquors in Oak Grove, Pennyrile Beverage, and Mark XII in Hopkinsville.

B.W. was known to many as the owner and operator of Back to the 50’s Restaurant, which he operated for many years. He later became a real estate agent, having worked with ReMax, Century 21, and Town and Country, and opened his own restaurant, B.W.’s Diner. After closing the diner, he continued to work at various other restaurants in Hopkinsville.
