Memorial Services for 81 year old Beverly Benson Smith of Cadiz will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. Jamus Redd and Rev. Scott Wilson officiating.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 10:00 – 12:00 at King’s Funeral Home.

Beverly Benson Smith was born in San Antino, TX on March 7, 1944 to Charles Thomas Benson and Faye Irene Vencill Benson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Smith and one son, Charlie Smith.
She passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Beverly began her career as a School Teacher and later retired as a Social Worker from the State of KY. She was a member of the Cadiz Methodist Church where she was involved with the Prayer Team, Laundry with Love, Simple Blessings, and Sunday School Devotionals at Barkley Plantation. Beverly was a member of the Kentucky Teachers Association and Kentucky Retirement System. In her spare time she loved cooking and gardening.
