Brenda Helton, 58, Woodlawn, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, at her home from natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026, at The Lighthouse Church with Terry Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at The Lighthouse Church.
A native of Trigg County, she was born November 1, 1967, the daughter of the late Henry Ellis Oliver and Norma Jean (DeLawson) Gray.
Brenda was a case manager at Grace and Mercy and a member of The Lighthouse Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Edwin Ray DeJesus.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Helton, Woodlawn, TN; her son, James (Tara) Burton, El Paso, TX; her daughters, Misty (Jack) Bone, Clarksville, TN, Olivia (Dustin) Kottong, Big Rock, TN; her mother, Norma Jean Gray, Dover, TN; her brother, Tommy Choate, Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Deborah Kuehn, Dover, TN; her son-in-law, Jeffery Kirkland; and her grandchildren, Hannah Bone, Caleb Bone, Raelynn Kirkland, Hunter Kirkland, Gannon Kirkland, Everleigh Kirkland, and Brenna “Beezy” Kirkland.
