Three western Kentucky State Representatives are focused on budget discussions in the Kentucky General Assembly and some early legislation that has surfaced during the first week.
Eighth District State Representative Walker Thomas says he was not able to be on hand for Governor Andy Beshear’s budget address Wednesday at the Kentucky History Center, but added he paid close attention to what the Governor had to say.
Ninth District State Representative Myron Dossett says after the Governor’s budget address, he has begun talking with House Appropriations and Revenue Committee Chairman Jason Petrie.
Fifith District State Representative Mary Beth Imes said in addition to the state budget, she has begun to watch some other bills that have been filed in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
State Representative Jason Petrie and State Senators Craig Richardson and Jason Howell were invited to participate in the Your News Edge Legislative Update Program, but did not have time.
