With most county extension offices being opened back up following the holidays, Trigg County ag agent David Fourqurean provided updates on local agriculture.
Fourqurean said the price of cattle is continuing to rise.
Fourqurean reminded cattle producers to be prepared for future market challenges.
In addition, he stressed the importance of farmers diversifying their crops.
There will be pesticide trainings at Trigg County Extension Office on January 20th, at 10am and 1pm. A third wrap-up meeting is scheduled for February 10th at 6pm.
