James Edward Lowe, age 69, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at his residence of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Lowe was born in Roseville, CA, on August 28, 1956, the son of the late William Edward Lowe and Phyllis June Kurth Collingwood. He was a believer and worked for 17 years as a Peace Officer in the California Penal System and 25 years in Security Management before retiring. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Brown and Helen Duce.
Survivors include his brother and his wife, Thomas (Serenity) Lowe of Hopkinsville, KY.
