Dawson Springs Independent Schools is mourning the loss of one of its high school students after a tragic accident.
Superintendent Lenny Whalen announced on social media that junior Aden McKinney passed away early Saturday morning from injuries suffered in a hunting accident.
He offered heartfelt condolences to Aden’s family, friends, classmates, and everyone affected by this loss.
According to Whalen, counselors and support staff will be available to students and faculty on Monday
