Todd County will be contracting with the Pennyrile Area Development District to provide mapping services for the county. During a special called Fiscal Court meeting Tuesday, Judged Executive Todd Mansfield told magistrates that Daniel Smith, who has provided the service for a year and half, is asking to cancel the contract.
Magistrates also voted to approve transfers, including $100,000 to the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office is closing out its year and all excess tax collections were transfered to the county. This transfer back will help cover expenses at the start of the year.
