Beta Nu Angel Tree coordinator Nancy Moore says community support during this holiday season was outstanding.
Moore says the Beta Nu Angel Tree program began with applications in the late fall and concluded Saturday, December 20th, when Christmas Presents were distributed to families on this year’s list.
Moore says in addition to the community members and the organizations that take angels from the trees and shop for Christmas presents, she thanked the banks, the county clerk’s office, and some individuals who assisted.
The Beta Nu Angel Tree program is funded annually by a golf tournament and other donations from individuals and community members throughout the year.
