A Trigg County family, recently featured in a News Edge story about the 2025 ‘Shop With A Sheriff’ event, received an even greater blessing this holiday season.
While working on a personal project last Saturday morning, Cadiz Eye Clinic owner Scott Sutherland received a text message from someone wanting to assist the local family. After making several calls to identify the family in need, Sutherland coordinated with Ashley Hunter from the Trigg County Schools Lighthouse Family Resource Center.
Once he established contact with the family, he met them in person to deliver the donation.
click to download audioSutherland noted that while the anonymous couple had assisted previously when asked, this particular gesture was unique. He urged the community to follow their lead and support those in need in any way possible this holiday season.
