The Pennyrile Allied Community Services Community Collaboration for Children program is hosting its second annual Free Christmas Market on Saturday morning.
Sabrina Davis, one of the organizers behind the initiative, told Your News Edge that donations are being accepted this Thursday and Friday. Items can be dropped off at the Western Kentucky Fairgrounds Convention Center at 2810 Richard Street in Hopkinsville between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The distribution event is open to anyone in need this holiday season, with doors opening at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
The idea originated last year, Davis noted, in response to the widespread needs she observed throughout the area.
