For dozens of children in Christian County, Christmas came early — thanks to a community tradition that pairs kids with cops for a holiday shopping spree.
Shop with a Cop brought together law enforcement, volunteers, and donors to make sure families in need don’t go without.

Michael Velez, President of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 12, says these officers are volunteering their time to give the children a Christmas they might not otherwise have.

Each family receives about three hundred dollars — made possible through donations from businesses and residents across Christian County.
