The Trigg County Elf Magic Squad will have more money to help provide Christmas for more than 130 children in Trigg County this year.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King presented a $1,400 check to Trigg County Elf Magic Squad’s Jason Meador at Cadiz City Hall Thursday morning.
Mayor King said he is hearing great comments about this year’s parade that was held Saturday, December 6th.
The parade was coordinated by Paula Flood, who said she began working with the annual event when John Mark Vinson was Trigg County Chamber of Commerce President.
Flood says seeing the community come together is always special at parade time.
Jason Meador says the $1,400 donation from the parade will help several children.
Meador says the families supply a wish list when they submit their request.
He says the Trigg County Elf Magic Squad is a way he enjoys giving back.
Gifts from the Trigg County Elf Magic Squad will be distributed to families on Saturday, December 20.
