A Hopkinsville woman was charged with assaulting staff members at the hospital on Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 25-year-old Tyshawna Johnson came to the hospital with seizure-like activity, and while in the examining room, she ripped the IV out of her arm, then kicked and punched two nurses before pulling another employee’s tie and spitting on him.
She was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and three counts of third-degree assault of a healthcare provider.
