Shirley Marie Reynolds Wilson, 81, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, died at 9:15 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville with Zeke Martins officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Wilford, Arkansas, she was born on December 22, 1943, the daughter of the late Ed and Marlene Wileman. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Johanna Marie Haxton.
She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and retired from Murray State University Breathitt Veterinary Clinic.
Survivors include her son, David (Debbie) Haxton of Murfreesboro, TN; her daughter, Sherry Austin of Hopkinsville, KY; two grandchildren, Ashley (Jonathan) Tatum and Seth Haxton; great-grandchildren, Aubree-Anna Durham, Blake Tatum, and Kaylinn Tatum; and her beloved cats, Shadow and Callie.
