A Hendersonville, Tennessee, man was charged with possession of drugs at the Welcome Center on Interstate 24 Sunday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they got out with 49-year-old Anthony Carter, who was pacing back and forth, and found he had an active warrant for probation violation in Tennessee.
He was reportedly found to have suspected fentanyl in his pocket and in his vehicle. Deputies say Tennessee would not extradite him on the warrant, but he was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
