On the eve of the fourth anniversary of the December 10, 2021, tornado, four Dawson Springs families were presented keys to their new homes in Princeton during a dedication ceremony on Tuesday with Governor Andy Beshear, Hope Initiative representatives, local leaders, and community members.
Mayor Brock Thomas welcomed the crowd, calling it a “wonderful day for the community and for all the families involved.”

In an interview with Your News Edge before the ceremony, Hope Initiative Executive Director Lisa Mathews shared that Christmas gifts would also be provided for the children of the families.
