A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession after a stolen motorcycle was found at Woodland Heights apartments on Greenville Road Saturday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they found a motorcycle in the parking lot with an incorrect tag, and after checking the VIN number, found the motorcycle had been stolen out of New Jersey.

The driver, 53-year-old Darryl Dixon, reportedly claimed he had just bought the motorcycle off of Facebook market 3 months ago and put his own tag from another motorcycle on it.

After being arrested, deputies say he was found to have suspected meth on him.

Dixon is charged with improper registration plate, receiving stolen property, and possession of meth.
