A shooting on Younglove Street near Mechanic Street in Hopkinsville sent a man to the hospital Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say someone fired several shots, hitting a man who is in his 60’s in the foot just before 6 pm.
Police were called to the area after 12 shots were reportedly fired, and found over 10 shell casings next to the road near Boyd Street
Authorities have blocked off the area as they investigate the shooting. The man was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
