Claudia Bergh, 79, of Hopkinsville

Claudia Bergh, 79, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on August 18, 1946, in Farmington, Michigan, to her late first-generation American parents, who immigrated from France, Roger and Odette Crete. She carried her heritage with pride and remained fluent in French. She was also gifted in mathematics and a talented pianist.

Raised in Michigan, she grew up with a sharp mind and a strong work ethic. Claudia was a vibrant and determined spirit whose drive and energy made her a true mover and shaker in the world of real estate rental management. That spirit of adventure led her across the country throughout her life. She spent several years in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where she loved living on the Intracoastal and taking her 36-foot boat out whenever she could. Later, she made homes in Colorado and Oregon before finally settling in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Claudia is survived by her husband, John Bergh of Gaylord, MI; three sons, James Roger (Tammy) Brown of Indiana, Brian David (Kimberly) Brown of Michigan, and Brett Ronald Brown of Michigan; five granddaughters, Rebecca, Merina, Jamie, Jessica, Briana; and six great-grandchildren, Eva Maria, Penelope, Lily Jean, Charlotte, C.J., and Barrett.

Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, Kentucky, is in charge of arrangements.
