Dorothy Lee Moss Taylor was born January 12, 1930, in Herndon, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Moss and Emma Lee Clardy.
She accepted Jesus at an early age, and later in life she joined Saint John Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member for over 50 years.
She worked at Christian County Head Start and the Red Cross. Dorothy enjoyed raising her children. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Louise Wills, Son, James Carl Higgs, brothers, James Rivers Moss, James Evans Moss, and Odell Moss, sister, Julia Mae West.
Survivors include her devoted grandchildren, Doresa Wills, Dionne Wills, Darnell Wills and Carlos Raul Higgs.
Funeral Services: Monday, December 8, 2025, 11:30 AM, Saint John Missionary Baptist Church
Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until funeral hour.
Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
