A Cadiz woman was charged with drug possession on Lafayette Street in Trigg County on Wednesday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 42-year-old Amanda Deloach, who was walking in the area, and after talking with her, she gave consent to search her bag, where a powder substance believed to be meth was located.
Deputies say Cadiz Police, along with the Sheriff’s Office, had received calls about her in the area from concerned citizens.
Deloach was arrested and charged with possession of meth.
