Sheila D. “She-She” Lindsey, age 73, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville of natural causes.
Funeral Services will be at 1:30 PM on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Haley officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:30 PM until the service time at 1:30 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Sheila was born in Russellville, KY, on January 28, 1952, the daughter of the late Owen Taylor Bilyeu and Betty Lou Thomas Bilyeu. She retired from being the bookkeeper for Dr. John McCubbin’s office. She was a member of Pembroke Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband of 51 years, Jimmy “Pop-Pop” Lindsey of Hopkinsville; her son and daughter in love, Kerry (Ashley) Lindsey of Pembroke, KY; her two sisters, Kaye Kie of Georgia and Marilyn (Jimmy) Gardner of Dunmor, KY; and her two grandchildren, Layton Lindsey and Paxton Lindsey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to American Diabetes Association, Dementia Society of America, or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
