After 10 years as one of the area’s premier event centers, the Silo Event Center in Hopkinsville will move into the next decade under new leadership.
Frank Giles announced on Tuesday that he had purchased the property from Ben and Maria Bolinger, who purchased 35 acres on John Rives Road in 2016 to open their real estate business and adjoining event center.
Giles, the managing partner and co-owner of Hughart, Beard, and Giles Funeral Home, Dogwood Funerals and Creation, and Pennyroyal Crematorium, says the venture into the event center made sense from a business perspective.
