
An attempt to locate a man with outstanding warrants led to a pursuit and shots being fired in Christian County Tuesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were at a home on Lafayette Road to locate Timothy Osiborski, who had warrants for second-degree strangulation, fourth-degree assault, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree wanton endangerment, and failure to appear.
While at the home, he reportedly got into a vehicle and then drove through a garage door towards law enforcement, leading them to fire a shot, hitting just the car.
He reportedly then led them on a pursuit that ended on Mount Vernon Church Road, with him jumping out of the vehicle with some kind of gun in his hand, but was apprehended with the help of a law enforcement K9.
During the pursuit, deputies say he collided with two law enforcement cruisers. Osiborski was reportedly taken to the hospital due to injuries from K9 Luca that helped in his arrest, and other injuries sustained while he was fleeing on foot.
The vehicle Osiborski was driving had previously been reported stolen.
Osiborski is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property, possession of cocaine, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, first-degree wanton endangerment, and several other charges.
