Christian County Public Schools has announced full details for the highly anticipated “Final Game” between the Hopkinsville High School Tigers and the Christian County High School Colonels.

The rivalry matchup will take place Friday, October 24, at the Stadium of Champions, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.

The evening will include several pregame activities honoring both schools. Gates open at 5 p.m., with tailgating for alumni beginning at the same time. The Hopkinsville High School band will perform at 5:45, followed by the Christian County band at 6 p.m.

Senior Night recognition for CCHS begins at 7, with the presentation of colors and the National Anthem at 7:15. Team captains and honorary captains will meet at midfield for the coin toss at 7:25, ahead of the 7:30 kickoff.

Tickets are $10 and available online through GoFan at https://gofan.co/event/3738336?schoolId=KY863.

Christian County will serve as the home team, while Hopkinsville fans will sit on the visitor side. Spectators are asked to enter on their school’s side of the stadium, as the track will be closed to cross traffic.

All attendees will go through the district’s weapons detection system, and CCPS reminds fans that a no-bag policy remains in effect for all athletic events. Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult—no exceptions.

Each school is organizing alumni gatherings, with a special section for graduates near the visitor parking area.

Alumni coordinators are Barbara Baker for CCHS (barbara.baker@christian.kyschools.us) and Barry Payne for HHS (270-484-6200).

Halftime entertainment will feature performances by the CCHS Dance Team and a joint kicking competition between both schools. Following the final whistle, the winner will take home the “Bragging Rights” Trophy, sponsored by White’s Automall.
