Sandra “Kay” Nuzum Gee Lamb, age 80, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her family of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hancock officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the service time at 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Kay was born in Reading, PA, on May 10, 1945, the daughter of the late William T. and Joan Phelps Nuzum. She worked for over 34 years as a Secretary at Phelps Dodge before retiring. She was a member of the New Covenant of Grace and attended Living Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Shane (Bobbi) Gee of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Tiffany (Jim) Gee Legaspi of Lewisburg, KY; her brother, William Edward (Glenda) Nuzum of Cadiz; her sister, Carol (Lewis) Boone of Hopkinsville; her nine grandchildren, Tatum (Trent) Hoover, Grayson Eller, Austin Gee, Garrett Gee, Paxton Gee, Isabella Norrid, Austin (Sanjay) Norrid, Angelina (Landon) Ezell, Nicole (Zach) Barber; and her four great grandchildren.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
