The Hopkinsville Police Department is getting ready for a busy second half of the month.
Public Information Officer Royale Marfil says the department will host a retirement luncheon on October 18th at Debo Park for all retired HPD officers and staff.
click to download audioThat same day, officers will take part in O’Charley’s Trunk-or-Treat event from 1 to 3 p.m.
Later in the month, HPD will also join Pennyrile Ford’s Trunk-or-Treat on October 30th from 6 to 8 p.m., and will be downtown for Halloween night trick-or-treating.
Marfil reminds families to keep safety in mind during the spooky season.
